2019 Rand Sealey Review ~ 19/20 points
2019 Savor NW Wine Competiton ~ Silver
Tasting Notes
DAMA welcomes back their DAMAnation blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre.Once again this is a single vineyard designate wine from Lonesome Spring Vineyard and it is our 5th bottling. What we have always loved about this blend is it's floral components along with it's dark fleshy fruit tones of black plum, the tartness of dark bing cherries and it's hints of white pepper to mint & rosemary. The 2016 continues with all these characteristics and it's bright acidity & silky tannins keep everything in balance.

Ratings
RAND SEALEY - March 2019 "Review of Washington Wines": Composed of 48% Grenache, 36% Syrah and 16% Mourvèdre from the Lonesome Springs vineyard, this offers a brick red color and a rich, smoky nose of blackberry, cherry, plum, red roses, tobacco, lavender, rosemary, a hint of mint, and incense. The flavors are generous and fleshy, yet focused, with notes of licorice, dark cocoa, French roast and baked earth. The saturation continues on the back with sensations of macerated berries, roasted nuts, kirsch and cassis, and lanolin (“legs”), followed by ripe, chewy tannins on the lasting finish. 19/20 points.
