Tasting Notes
This is the wine you'll want to be drinking while sitting around the fire on a crisp Fall evening, wrapped up in a Pendleton wool blanket and sharing secrets with a best friend. This classic Rhone-style blend has a full body balanced by delicate flavors: hints of cocoa powder, lush raspberry, fraise de bois and light spices of nutmeg. Each taste brings on the sharing of another secret, the creation of another memory, and another taste sensation. Talk about nights that should never end!

RAND SEALEY REVIEW: This wine displays a brilliant ruby color and an enticing nose of wild strawberry, cranberry and pomegranate, with scents of rose petals, mulberry, lavender, and wafts of white incense. The medium bodied flavors are supple and vivacious, with notes of red licorice, cocoa powder, and alluvial minerals. The wine’s appeal continues on the back with sensations of fraise liqueur, dried orange peel and crème de cassis, followed by light spices (nutmeg, cardamom) and moderate alcohol (13.5%) on the lingering sweet-dry tannin finish. As a “vin de plaisir” this gets a plus. 18.5+/20 points.
~~ 91 POINTS WINE SPECTATOR - Red supple and expressive, centered on blueberry and currant flavors, but weaving in hints of black olive and clotted cream as the finish expands against wrinkly tannins."
